I have noticed that stinking mustang article chilling at the top of the page despite it being old, and they've done this stuff for a while. I don't understand it.
I feel a lot of people load the page to see if there is anything new, and having seen that article, immediately dismiss anything under it as "old news".
All for the page clicks I guess, but doesn't make sense to me. Super annoying.

I'm assuming they continue to have key articles at the top. You may be tired of the Mustang article, but it's obviously getting clicks so it stays towards the top.
I'm actually impressed someone was on the FP, half the posts on Oppo some days are notifiying everyone of news that was on the FP a couple hours ago.

lol, true. It's likely because everyone on oppo has been turned off of FP.
I suppose it's still getting clicks but meh.

I've noticed that a lot of the times the writers are "sharing" the articles that they wrote earlier in the day. It annoys me every time I see a post saying " Patrick George shared a post by Patrick George." It's not really any different than the way that they "share" content from oppo or from other kinja blogs.
It seems, as of late, the fashionable thing to do on the FP is to repost articles written by amateurs for free instead of having your writers actually write. So when the writers actually do create new content they feel the need to post it 5 or 6 times so the writers actually look like they're doing something.

Yeah lol. I've noticed that too, they barely write any of their own material. Bugs me when they continuously re-post too. It's basically pointing out how little they create new content.
I know it isn't easy to find stories to write about everyday, but then again that is their job...
